It has been great year for Swanage & Wareham 1st team, losing only 5 games in a very competitive league. We have had some great victories this season, showing our strength and determination. We have managed to blood in a young set of backs with an experienced set of forwards culminating in some scintillating rugby. The attitude on and off the field has allowed the players to gel a lot more and allow more consistency in training and in selection. We have had further successes with 2 of our young players representing Dorset & Wilts U20's team to Twickenham, and three of our 1stXV players representing the Dorset & Wiltshire Senior XV.

With the introduction of new Senior XV coaches in Jason Davies as head coach and his brother Domenick Davies as a designated defence coach, along with a new Kit Manager in Rob Lockyer, Swanage and Wareham RFC are looking to the future with very a positive attitude.

We are looking forward to building on our success in the upcoming season. With a talented group of players and a strong team ethos, we are confident that we can continue to achieve great things on the rugby field.
