2nd XV

After a hugely successful promotion season in 2023/24 Swans 2nd XV found themselves in the highly competitive Counties 2 Tribute Dorset & Wiltshire South division.

It was a tough start to the season and early matches were closely fought encounters that produced some losses with fine margins.

As the season progressed though the consistency in the team and the understanding of the new playing structure began to produce results.

Managers John Tozer and Mike Snowden in their last season with the 2nds were determined to finish the season strongly and they achieved that with a respectable 6th place finish with the only a few points seperating the mid table teams. Another strong Cup run resulted in consecutive Finals and a runners up medal in the County Plate competition.

The 2nd team will continue to be a breeding ground for up-and-coming youth players alongside more established experienced players and continue to support the 1st XV with a One squad mentality.

As the new season approaches newly appointed manager Wame Waqalevu and Coach Kitione KamiKamica look to improve on the previous season and help provide strong links with players from Bovington army camp and let’s hope its 3rd time lucky in the cup in 2025/26!!
