SWANS 2nd v OAKMEADIANS

   However there was a home game at Bestwall, Swans 2nd XV were playing against Oakmeadians 2nd XV

 

                        SWANAGE & WAREHAM 2nd XV 60pts OAKMEADIANS 2nd 14pts

            Swans 2nd started on top and after 4 minutes scored a try in the corner by Matt Hesscroft. Three minutes later a  by Aaron Foskett led to Swans 2nd try out wide. Oaks had a few penalties but Swans rebuffed any advantage. Wing forward Jonny Blackmore broke clear to score a try under the posts. Jamie Foskett added the extras.(17pts – nil). On a  minutes a move along Swans backs had winger Jamie Taylor going in for a try in the corner. Five minutes later a couple of penalties to Oaks, had them close to the Swans try line,and after a few phases they crossed the line for a converted try.(22 – 7pts). After 35 minutes a fine individual try by Swans other winger C allum Taylor scored in the corner. Just before the break, fly half Jamie Foskett broke clear to score a try  half way out. He converted himself making the half time Swans 2nd 34pts Oaks 7pts

            After 2 minutes of the second half Callum Taylor added his second try out wide. Jamie Foskett added the conversion.(41pts -7pts). Callum Taylor added his hat-trick try after 50 minutes bringing Swans score to 46 pts. Swans made several changes to the team but they were still on top and Swans conceded a few more penalties to Oaks, before on the hour mark, Callum Taylor broke free to run round to score under the posts.Jamie Foskett converted.(53pts – 7pts) Ten minutes later a Swans move to replacement winger Lewis Reeves broke clear for a converted try bringing Swans score  to 60pts. Just on the final whistle Oaks managed a consolation try after several penalties and phases which was converted making the final score Swans 2nd 60pts Oakmeadians 14pts.
