2022 / 2023

The U15’s team is a combination of Swanage & Wareham RFC, Lytchett RFC and Poole RFC. This has been a successful combining of sides and we have done so for the past 4 seasons. We have a super bunch of enthusiastic and keen rugby players who uphold the core values of rugby: Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship. This underpins everything we do and allows all players to play their part in a team.

We meet on a Sunday morning; 09:30-11:30 (ordinarily) and have a Wednesday evening fitness session; 6:00-7:00. September - May.

Rugby is a great game and has so many positives that we, as coaches, impart onto players, parents and anyone involved by the way we approach the game - fairly and honestly. The safety of all players is paramount and we hope to give them the best coaching we can to allow fun with control too. As we move through the age-groups and get more serious the changes are gradual and are set by the English RFU, which are clear and logical.

We have a good mix of players that have played rugby at their clubs since they were 5 years old(!) and players that are new to the game, but it all works well. Everyone has something to offer.

A very pleasant team where winning isn’t everything but enjoying what they do is and achieving success.
