SWANAGE & WAREHAM 107pts FROME 2nd 5pts
Swans welcomed Frome 2nd to Bestwall last Saturday, and anybody could see the difference in standard.
Swans started with a penalty goal from Steve Woolley,followed by a converted try by Chris Tomes to put Swans 10pts up. After 10 by Swans no.8 James Casey went over for Swans second converted try. A couple of penalties to Frome took them into Swans 22 and with a catch/drive Frome scored in the corner.(17pts – 5pts).Chris Tomes scored another try before winger Harry Spyers scored a hat- trick of tries before the half time whistle taking the score to 41pts – 5pts at the break.
The carnage continued after the break, as second row Dan Collins powered his way out wide Replacement winger Olly Dillon came on and in the space of five minutes had run in two converted tries taking the score to 67pts – 5pts. Harry Spyers added another converted try on the hour mark, and 3 minutes
later wing forward Jonny Blackmore added another converted try.(81pts – 5pts).Dan Collins added his second try of the game and replacement front rower Jack Jenner brought the score to 95pts -5pts after 68 minutes. Centre Will Slack had the privilege of going in for Swans 100 points mark, before Harry Spyers completed the scoring going in for his fifth try, making the final score Swanage & Wareham 107points Frome 2nd 5points.
