Swans travelled to Trowbridge in their second game in this league.

For the first six minutes the game had Swans on top, but a pass along the line to winger Harry Spyers going in for Swans first try to put them 7pts up with Steve Woolley adding the conversion. It was almost a repeat after 14 minutes as once again Harry Spyers went in for his second try. Woolley added the extras.(0-14). Swans continued to press, and after 22 minutes the ball came to fly half Steve Woolley who scored Swans third try. Woolley converted his own try. With ten minutes to go to the break, once again the ball was Harry Spyers hands as he rounded the full back to go in for his hat-trick of tries. Woolley converted leaving the half time score Trowbridge 2nd 0pts Swanage & Wareham 28pts.

Within two minutes of the restart, the ball was worked back to Swans full back Rory Ferguson, who shrugged off a couple of tackles before going in for another try. Woolley converted.(0-35). Swans brought on some replacements, but a couple of penalties to Trowbridge took them into Swans 22 and Trowbridge fly half worked his way over Swan’s try line.(5pts – 35pts). On the hour mark, Swans replacement centre veteran Dave Elford crossed the Trowbridge line to take Swans score to 42pts as Woolley added the extras. For the next ten minutes Swans went to sleep, Trowbridge won a few penalties and after 70 minutes they went in for a try under the posts which was converted.(12pts-42pts). Five minutes later Swans won a scrum inside the Trowbridge 22 and wing forward Matt Roberts picked up the ball to go in for Swans seventh try of the afternoon.
