Swanage & Wareham had to visit Walcot, whose ground is near to Bath’s racecourse.
The game was evenly fought for the first twenty minutes, but a kick ahead by the Walcot fly half found his winger who crossed for a converted try. Walcot continually kicked the ball over the Swans defence causing Swans to back peddle and make mistakes. On 30 minutes such a mistake had the home side to make the score 14pts – nil. Swans second row, George Slack was moved to the wing after Swans winger was forced off, and following a scrum close to the Walcot line just before the break he crossed out wide.

Two minutes into the second half, Walcot added their third try by the right winger who was missed by several tacklers by Swans.(19pts – 5). Walcot continued with kicks over Swans defence, and after 54 minutes landed another converted try. (26pts – 5pts). A move all along the Walcot three –quarters on 70 minute resulted in another score.(33pts – 5 pts). A couple of penalties to Swans took them into the Walcot 22. Several scrums and penalties on the Walcot line resulted in skipper and prop forward Nick Audley crossing the try line. Matt Spencer added the conversion. Final score Walcot 33pts Swans 12pts.
