(7pts-5pts). From the restart the hosts were awarded with a penalty goal to give them a 5 pts advantage. Both sides were making unforced errors, and the game suffered until on 25 minutes Swans fly half Steve Woolley landed a penalty goal to make it 10pts – 8pts. A series of penalties to both sides ended with centre George Slack going over the try line after 36 minutes to give Swans a 10pts – 13pts half time lead.
